So, I'm a little late....

But here's a beautiful tag I made inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas 2011.

Where in the World is My Vagabond?

It's in beautiful (okay, not usually...) Las Vegas, Nevada! I didn't want to take it to the strip since that would be sooooooo cliche, right? So, I went to one of the most beautiful spots in Las Vegas: Floyd Lamb State Park (aka Tule Springs). With the aid of my extremely handsome son, we got the perfect picture. Two of the three loves of my life in one picture: my son & my Vagabond. My wife was not feeling well today. What a fun project, Sizzix! Get us crazy scrappers out of our craft rooms!

Food, Glorious Food!

I found this picture on Google and LOVED it. I think the card came out cute! Again, two pictures...one with flash and one without flash. The one with the flash showcases the colors while the one without the flash shows the details of the card and picture.

Center Stage

This card should not be considered an Artist Trading Card as much as it is an Artist Trading Book! It's thick as can be but I think my friend Eileen will like it! I found the image on Google and turned the entire picture black and white except for the center girl on my iPhone.

White Wedding Day

I have seen some beautiful white on white ATC's before and that was my first idea with this card, but then I found this picture and knew I had to throw some burgundy in there! The card is wrapped entirely in fabric and ribbon. The only paper on this card is the swirly design behind the sheer fabric and the photo itself. I added two pictures...one with the flash, one without. The flash showcases the color nicely while the picture without the flash shows the cards details.

Peacock

This topic seemed interesting, but could become stale if everyone did the same thing, so I decided to buy a stamp larger than 2.5 X 3.5, which is the size requirement of the card. In order to view the entire stamp, though...I decided to create a slider card. It was fun figuring out how to make it slide and I think came out beautifully.

Theme: Sea Turtles

The theme of this card is "Sea Turtles". I found a cool picture of a sea turtle swarmed by fish, beaded the card and added a phrase. Hope you like it!

Theme: Siren

The theme of this card is "Siren". I found a cool image on Google, printer 'er out and made a cool shaker card! The colors worked out beautifully!

Theme: Mermaid

The theme of this card is "Mermaid". We found this cool Mermaid stamp at our local stamp shop, and the rest as they say, is history! I wanted a cool saying that would be, hopefully, witty. A mermaid lusting for shoes? I thought it was cute!
Yet another song theme, this one was "You Made Me Love You (but I Didn't Want to Do it)". It's hard to read, but the bottle on the left says "Love Potion No. 9".

Theme: Fly Me to the Moon

The theme of this card is "Fly Me to the Moon." This group was all song title themed. Eileen picked a great theme and I hope she likes the results! The wings took FOREVER to cut out!!!!

Theme: Butterfly Kisses

The theme of this card is "Butterfly Kisses". We decided to make a Hershey's Kiss with butterfly wings. Clever, huh? I'd love to take the idea, but the idea was all my wife's. The execution was all mine, though! :)

Theme: Uneven Edge

The theme of this card was "Uneven Edge". I used the Buddha stamp, cut around the edges, and voila!

Theme: Fold-It

The theme of this card is "Fold-It". It took a while to figure out how to make hinges out of paper, but I think it came out beautifully!

Theme: Shaker Card

My first shaker card...this was fun to make! It says "If the shoe fits, it's ugly." in the bottom corner! I am not a fan of birkenstocks!!!

Theme: Any Technique

This was wasn't just "Any Technique", it was "Every Technique!"

4th and Final ATC for my 1st Swap-Flower People

This theme was interesting and I actually had a few ideas. I decided to use a Japanese motif while staying true to the theme "Flower People". I hope you all like it!

3rd ATC-Weeds

I have to say. I was very confused by this theme and had a hard time finding inspiration. It is simple, but I think it came out nice. Hopefully Eileen likes it! If not, maybe her next theme won't be so odd! :) Love ya, Shterby!

Our 2nd ATC!

The theme was "Pixies" and I spent a long time trying to find ANYTHING with pixies or fairies on them and all I could find was Tinkerbell. Ich. Finally I found a " One Upon a Time" card stack that had a fairies page on it! Score! I used wood flourishes embellished with embossing powder as the wings. :)

Our First ATC!

The theme of this ATC was "Birds". I really enjoyed making it and enjoy looking at it even more!
